Job summary

Alumni Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled machinist to join our production team and shape metal to exact specifications. You will operate CNC machinery, including lathes, drills, mills, routers, grinders, brakes and shears, reading engineering and CAD drawings to set up and run parts with precision.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow instructions including Engineering and CAD drawings.
• Clear knowledge and understanding of the application of geometric tolerance symbols.
• Comfortable working with measurement equipment i.e. calipers, ID/OD, micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery including lathes, drills, mills, routers, grinders, brakes and shears.
• Set up machines, make adjustments and perform maintenance on machines.
• Check work using gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances.
• Interface with employees and managers within the department.
• Follow safety requirements and trainings (PPE, chemical handling).
