Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school training a plus.
  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred (set-up and operation).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CNC programming (G-code, M-code) a plus.
  • Ability to lift up and stand for extended periods.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Fast-paced, precision manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to machinery, moderate noise, and metalworking fluids.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other equipment) to produce precision parts.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate production.
  • Select, align, and secure tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations.
  • Perform machine adjustments and offsets as needed to maintain part tolerances.
  • Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and quality records.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines in a precision manufacturing environment.
