Job summary

LFG Manufacturing Inc. seeks a Senior Machinist to operate a CNC Fiber Laser, Press Brake and related equipment to cut, bend, and form metal for electrical switchboards and junction boxes. The role includes sub-assembly work, supervising machinists, and overseeing a preventative maintenance program.

You will read drawings, prepare parts from templates, inspect for quality, and ensure safe, efficient production while collaborating with the Plant Manager on scheduling and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience on laser, press brake or metal machining equipment.
• Ability to read drawings and BOMs; basic computer skills.
• Experience with electrical switchboards and fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Fiber Laser, Press Brake and related equipment safely.
• Supervise machinists and assistants; lead training on assembly tasks.
• Prepare parts and assemblies per drawings and templates.
• Ensure quality control and document production activities.
• Assist with scheduling, inventory control, and VM/PM programs.
