Job summary

SendCutSend Inc. is seeking a hands-on CNC Machine Operator to run fiber laser and press brake equipment, set up tooling, inspect parts, and handle materials. You will read 2D/3D drawings, verify programs, and maintain a clean, safe workspace following LEAN/5S principles.

You’ll work with team leads to meet daily goals, perform routine maintenance, and assist with tooling inventory. This role requires English proficiency and attention to detail in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic knowledge of CNC systems and machine controls.
• Ability to read production drawings and flat patterns.
• Ability to use measuring devices and basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber lasers and CNC press brakes.
• Load material and unload finished parts from machines.
• Verify correct programs, tooling, and material prior to running jobs.
• Perform machine startup, shutdown, and routine daily maintenance.
• Install and set up punches, dies, and job tooling as required.
• Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings for proper laser and brake setup.
• Measure parts using gauges and inspection tools to verify angles, dimensions, and overall accuracy meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles.
• Assist with inventory of tooling such as punches and dies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
