Magee Technologies (MTech) is seeking a Machinist IV in Maryland to produce high‑precision parts for defense and commercial applications. The role requires operating lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills, interpreting complex blueprints, and maintaining tight tolerances with GibbsCAM assistance.

6+ years of machining experience, U.S. citizenship for potential security clearance, and CAD/CAM skills are preferred. The position offers competitive wages and benefits within the SCA framework.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in machining operations.
• Experience operating a wide range of machine tools (lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills).
• U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• GibbsCAM proficiency and CAD/CAM software training preferred.
• Defense industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional machine tools to manufacture precision parts.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical challenges and improve components.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specs to fabricate or repair parts.
• Maintain machining documentation and ensure safety and quality standards.
