Job summary

Magee Technologies in Southern Maryland seeks a CNC Machinist II to set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components per drawings. You will machine aluminum, steel, titanium, and composites, read GD&T, verify dimensions, and support prototype and production parts while prioritizing safety and quality.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED required.
Up to 2 years CNC machining in production/aerospace/defense.
Experience setting up/operating CNC mills/lathes.
Reading engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges.
Monitor machining operations and adjust to maintain quality/production.
Inspect parts during machining using precision tools.
Safely operate CNC equipment following safety procedures.
