Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in machine setting preferred.
• Capable of performing machine changeovers and adjustments.
• Understanding of coolant and cutting oils.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Familiarity with Fanuc G & M codes is a plus.
• Hands-on CNC machine experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of machines including lathes, cutters, borers, millers, grinders, presses, drills, and CNC machines.
• Position and align controls or mounts to set cutting speeds, depths, feed rates, and angles with precision.
• Run cycles, verify timing, tolerances, and inspect first-run workpieces.
• Position and align cutting tools into holders, and select tools and holding devices.
• Troubleshoot machine and setup issues swiftly and efficiently.
• Study blueprints, layouts, or charts to visualize work sequences and tooling instructions.
• Train and assist colleagues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
