Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
3–5 years of experience in machine setting preferred.
Capable of performing machine changeovers and adjustments with precision.
Understanding of coolant and cutting oils.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
Familiarity with Fanuc G&M codes is a plus.
Hands-on experience with CNC machines.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate a variety of machines including lathes, cutters, borers, millers, grinders, presses, drills, and CNC machines.
Position and align controls or mount gears, cams, or templates to set cutting speeds, depths, feed rates, and angles.
Run cycles to inspect first-run workpieces and ensure timing, tolerances, and quality.
Position and align cutting tools into holders; select and adjust tooling.
Troubleshoot machine and setup issues swiftly and efficiently.
Study blueprints, layouts, or charts to visualize work sequences and tooling instructions.
Mentor and train colleagues, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Participate in continuous improvement, kaizen, and cycle-time reduction initiatives.
Adhere to company policies and procedures; take on additional duties as needed.
