Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 30 months of applicable machining experience.
• Internal: Fully qualified as a Level 2 Machine Operator.
• Advanced knowledge about metal or plastic cutting processes and equipment.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to learn quickly.
• Proficient machining, communication, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Complete set-up and operation of machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform start‑up and shutdown procedures, load raw material, and monitor processes.
• Perform simple and advanced changes, adjustments, and setup to tooling and fixtures.
• Complete records and forms and maintain accurate documentation.
• Inspect machined parts visually and dimensionally according to quality standards.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions and part discrepancies to supervisor.
