Job summary

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 2–5 years in manufacturing, and experience with rotary/flat-bed presses, slitters, and rewinders; strong mechanical and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing/ production environment required.
• Demonstrated experience with rotary or flat-bed presses, slitters, rewinders required.
• 3 party production and/or quality certifications preferred.
• English language capabilities (verbal/ written / computer) required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and complying with regulations including 5S and manufacturing principles.
• Run efficient production cycles per instructions and required job specifications.
• Review work orders/production schedules to determine specifications and proper setup sequence.
• Test and adjust controls to regulate machine speeds and actions.
• Install, align, and lock punches, dies, cutting blades, or fixtures in machines using gauges and tools.
• Monitor machine operation and record data.
• Measure all completed and in-process parts to verify conformance using calipers/micrometers.
• Perform quality checks on finished pieces and correct defects as needed.
• Proactively perform machine maintenance, upkeep, cleaning, and lubrication.
• Maintain productivity while minimizing raw material waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
