Job summary

Saunders Converting, a Division of R.S. Hughes, is seeking a Machine Operator II to manage the assigned workstation, perform setup, and drive quality and timeliness through the production lifecycle.

You will monitor machines, adjust speeds, maintain safety standards, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with teammates in a fast-paced environment to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent Required.
• 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/ production environment Required.
• Demonstrated experience with rotary or flat-bed presses, slitters, rewinders Required.
• 3 party production and/or quality certifications Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and setup production machines to ensure quality and timely output.
• Follow 5S and safety protocols; maintain clean work area.
• Monitor machines and adjust speeds and feeds as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and document operational data.
• Inspect finished pieces for defects and make corrections.
