Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in NC Faison is seeking a Machine Operator II to set up, run, and maintain packaging equipment on 1st shift. You will ensure boxes are glued correctly, complete paperwork, and keep the line running safely and efficiently.

The role requires English communication, forklift certification, and the ability to work in an unconditioned production environment. Excellent teamwork and adherence to safety rules are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English; forklift certification required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and squat for long periods.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain the box machine to meet production schedules.
• Report food safety or quality issues to Supervisor and verify product boxes.
• Ensure boxes are glued properly and required paperwork is completed.
• Check machine guards and safety switches are in place and functioning.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance with standard tools.
• Keep work area clean; complete daily CIL checklist for cleaning and lubrication.
• Record downtime events and perform root-cause analysis with maintenance when needed.
