Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in NC Faison is seeking a Machine Operator II to set up, operate, and maintain packaging machinery on 1st shift (6am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri with some Sundays). The role ensures high-quality products, safety compliance, and efficient production.

The ideal candidate will read and write English, pass forklift certification, and work in PPE in an unconditioned environment while completing required paperwork and supporting maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; forklift certification required.
• Standing and walking 100%; use of both hands, bending, lifting and squatting.
• Factory setting requires PPE.
• Work in an unconditioned environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain machinery to produce high quality products.
• Report food safety or quality issues to Supervisor.
• Ensure correct boxes and proper glue; complete required paperwork.
• Start machine and adjust to improve performance; troubleshoot and perform maintenance.
• Clean machinery and keep work area clean; complete CIL checklist daily.
• Complete downtime forms and root-cause analyses (6W2H) if needed.
• Fill defect tags when parts are replaced.
