Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Machine Maintenance Tech II for the 3rd shift (10:00 pm–6:30 am, Sun–Thu) in Brooklyn Park, MN. The role focuses on advanced repair, equipment installation, and preventative maintenance, with cross-functional collaboration to improve quality and efficiency.

The candidate should have 5 years of advanced machine maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and ISO compliance. Training and documentation are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• 5 years of advanced level machine maintenance experience.
• Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Intermittent exposure to safe levels of cleaning solutions, solvents, and solder fumes.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 10-50lbs.
• Work around oils & solvents in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform advanced machinery repair.
• Install and align new machining equipment.
• Recommend improvements for quality or efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Work independently on projects of moderate complexity.
• Train Machine Maintenance Tech I.
• Accurately record and report hours worked.
• Support and comply with the Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
• Partner with Sales/Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, and Finance.
• Understand customer needs and core business markets.
• Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly.
• Participate in required company meetings.
• Maintain an organized work area (5S).
• Participate in the Operational Excellence Program.
• Complete all other work duties as assigned.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
