Job summary

Stratasys Ltd. in Eden Prairie, MN, is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician II for the 3rd shift. You will ensure optimal function and repair of production machinery, aiming to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

The role involves electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, part replacement, and collaboration with the production team to optimize performance. The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or 4+ years of related experience, strong troubleshooting, and familiarity with PLCs

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 4+ years of related work experience.
• 4+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Safety-conscious with adherence to procedures.
• CMMS experience (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Lead routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform repairs and replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Collaborate with production to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities, work orders, and parts inventory.
• Train junior technicians and assist engineering with equipment upgrades.
