Job summary

EY is seeking a senior SharePoint/M365 engineer to lead on-premises to SharePoint Online migrations and design modern intranets. You will shape information architecture, governance, and migration waves while partnering with client stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

You will bring deep expertise across SharePoint Server/Online and Microsoft 365 administration, guiding end-to-end project lifecycles from discovery to deployment and contributing to solution blueprints and

Qualifications

3+ years of consulting experience delivering SharePoint solutions and/or migrations using Microsoft technologies.
Hands-on experience with SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) and SharePoint Online administration and configuration.
Experience with major migration toolsets (e.g., Migration Manager, ShareGate, AvePoint, Quest or similar).
Experience implementing modern SharePoint Online intranets (IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, and permissions).
Working knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to lead workshops and present recommendations to technical and executive audiences.
Experience delivering in regulated or security-conscious environments, incorporating identity, governance, and compliance requirements into designs.
Prior enterprise consulting experience (client-facing delivery).

Responsibilities

Assess & plan migrations: run discovery/inventory, define migration scope and waves, estimate effort/complexity, and establish cutover and hypercare plans.
Design the target intranet: define information architecture, hub/site strategy, navigation, search approach, metadata/content types, and permissions model.
Execute migrations: configure and operate Microsoft and third-party migration tooling, manage pilots, remediate issues, and drive successful cutovers.
Modernize solutions: map legacy workflows/forms to Power Automate and Power Apps patterns where appropriate.
Enable operations & governance: establish standards, provisioning/lifecycle controls, and operational reporting.
Lead stakeholders: run workshops, produce client-ready deliverables, and communicate risks, tradeoffs, and decisions clearly to technical and business audiences.
