Job summary

WiredHive, Inc. is seeking an experienced M365 Migration Architect to lead enterprise-scale cloud migration projects, unifying legacy on-premise environments and multiple tenants into a secure Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

You will balance hands-on execution with executive stakeholder consulting to ensure zero downtime and data integrity. Responsibilities include architectural design, discovery and planning, workload migration (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), and tenant-to-tenant strategies,

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure with at least 4+ years focused on large-scale M365 migrations (10,000+ users preferred).
• Mastery of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, AD DS, and federation services (ADFS).
• Deep understanding of Exchange hybrid configurations, SharePoint permissions, and Teams migrations.

Responsibilities

• Architect target state M365 tenant architecture, identity models, mail routing topologies, and hybrid coexistence strategies.
• Lead detailed discovery to assess source environment readiness and data volumes; identify blockers.
• Design and oversee migration of Exchange on-prem/hosted to Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Develop M&A blueprints for domain moves and cross-tenant data mapping.
• Configure Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and security score optimization.
• Evaluate and deploy migration tools (MigrationWiz, Quest, AvePoint, or native MS tools).
• Create automation scripts to bulk provision, validate data, and runbooks for migration.
• Provide technical leadership, author runbooks, and mentor deployment engineers.
