Job summary

WM is seeking a senior leader to drive Corporate Business Development due diligence from LOI to close on complex acquisitions in the United States. You will coordinate Sellers and WM’s internal stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, Tax, HR, and Ops, to ensure rigorous diligence and timely decision-making.

The role requires exceptional organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record of guiding multi-million-dollar deals from pipeline to integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field.
• 10+ years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading complex acquisitions and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the due diligence process from LOI through close for large acquisitions ($10M+).
• Coordinate Sellers and WM's internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Tax, HR, and other functions.
• Own the deal timeline, scope, information requirements, and escalation paths.
• Organize, review and manage access to the Deal Room and ensure seamless pre-closing transition.
• Synthesize diligence findings into a cohesive investment assessment and business case.
