Job summary

WM is seeking a leader to drive corporate business development due diligence from LOI to close for complex acquisitions typically exceeding $10M. You will coordinate with Tier Business Development leaders, area teams, and stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Tax, HR, Digital, Ops, Real Estate and EHS to ensure smooth execution and a strong investment case.

Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
10+ years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the Corporate Business Development due diligence process from LOI through close.
Manage complex acquisitions (typically 10M+) and guide area due diligence teams.
Coordinate with Sellers and WM’s internal stakeholders across the transaction lifecycle.
Own the deal timeline, scope, information requirements, and escalation path.
Synthesize diligence findings into a cohesive investment assessment prior to signing APA.
Lead the transition of completed acquisitions to the Integration Team, post-close.
