Job summary

Invenergy, North America’s largest privately held developer, owner, and operator of power infrastructure, seeks a Senior Associate, Renewable Development to drive utility-scale wind, solar and storage projects across the United States. You will help identify sites, secure land control, permits, interconnection positions, and engage stakeholders.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (in office Mon–Thu, remote Friday if feasible), a base pay range of $120,000–$145,000 per year, and a bonus program of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of work experience in renewable/clean energy or related field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Travel anticipated 25% of the time.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Advance wind, solar, and energy storage project developments within the United States.
• Identify development prospects, including market assessments and site reconnaissance.
• Develop pricing strategies and manage resource assessment processes.
• Secure site control via leases, easements, and agreements with landowners.
• Evaluate power market trends and coordinate landowner communication.
• Lead local/state/federal permit efforts as needed.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, landowners, and government officials.
• Initiate and manage generation interconnection activities.
• Assist project budgeting and scheduling; coordinate internal and external technical support.
