Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) seeks a Sr. Project Development Engineer (M&A) to lead engineering diligence for wind, solar, and storage projects during commercial transactions.

You will guide site assessments, data-room diligence, and preliminary design to ensure assets are sale-ready and aligned with LRE’s long-term ownership model. The role requires strong technical leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage multiple projects with a strategic focus on

Competenze

• 4-Year Engineering degree required.
• 6+ years of relevant technical experience in project development, permitting, and design.
• 5+ years development engineering in renewable energy.

Mansioni

• Conduct desktop site assessments for potential acquisitions and divestitures.
• Diligence data rooms with engineering documentation for transactions.
• Prepare preliminary site layouts and energy prediction reports.
• Collaborate with M&A, Project Development, and Finance teams to advance value-accretive transactions.
• Lead multiple projects, manage priorities, and meet submittal dates.
• Coordinate with experts to identify long-lead procurement items for schedules.
• Represent LRE in meetings on engineering and technical issues.
