Placements24 is seeking a Senior Corporate M&A Paralegal for our client, a prestigious law firm with a strong corporate and M&A practice in East London. You will support a team of corporate lawyers on complex mergers, acquisitions, and transactional matters, handling due diligence, data room management, and document review.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent with 5+ years supporting corporate and M&A attorneys.
• Experience managing due diligence processes and virtual data rooms.
• Proficient in drafting and reviewing corporate documents.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in a fast-paced law firm environment.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to East London.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in managing all phases of corporate M&A transactions, from initiation to closing.
• Conduct and coordinate due diligence investigations, including document review and analysis.
• Organize and manage virtual data rooms, ensuring efficient access to transaction documents.
• Prepare, review, and revise legal documents such as NDAs, term sheets, purchase agreements, and closing binders.
• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and other third parties to gather information and facilitate communication.
• Assist with corporate filings and regulatory compliance matters.
• Manage and maintain transaction closing checklists and workstreams.
• Provide administrative support to the corporate legal team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
• Perform legal research as required.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation and filings.
