Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking a Senior M&A Technology Integration Engineer to lead the technical integration of acquired companies into BKF's cloud environment. You will own architecture, migration strategy, risk management, and execution standards for each acquisition.

This senior, hands-on individual-contributor role provides direction to engineers, consultants, and vendors, and collaborates across BKF technology teams. A Bay Area location is preferred, with hybrid work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, identity, or enterprise tech integration.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Experience designing/executing Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, identity, domains, licensing, and collaboration services.
• PowerShell, automation, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical plans and communicate risk to nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture, migration strategy, risk, and standards for each acquisition integration.
• Provide technical direction to internal engineers, consultants, and vendors.
• Coordinate SharePoint and OneDrive migrations and related file-system migrations.
• Develop integration architecture, migration plans, schedules, cutover plans, and rollback procedures.
• Collaborate with multiple BKF teams (Cloud Ops, Security, HR, GIS, CAD) to align requirements.
