SBI Partners in Chicago seeks a Senior M&A Analyst to join a newly formed, private equity-backed platform and work directly with senior leadership on an acquisition-driven growth plan. The role splits ~50% M&A, 25% FP&A development, 25% other strategic work, offering hands-on exposure to transactions and financial infrastructure.

You will build financial models, evaluate opportunities, coordinate diligence, and support FP&A processes while collaborating across finance, operations, business

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
• Comfortable leveraging AI and other technology tools to improve efficiency and analysis
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus

Responsabilités

• Evaluate acquisition opportunities and help manage the M&A pipeline
• Build financial models, valuations, and investment analysis
• Prepare investment packages and materials to support acquisition decisions
• Coordinate financial and operational diligence
• Assist with proposals, LOIs, purchase agreements, and other transaction-related documents
• Support the development of FP&A processes, reporting, forecasting, and analysis
• Partner across finance, operations, business development, and strategy
