Job summary

The role centers on financial modeling, due diligence coordination, and delivering definitive data to senior management to guide strategic objectives. This is a hybrid position with in-office work four days per week at the One M&T Plaza location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience OR Associate’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, auditing, operations or financial institutions.
• Strong financial modeling skills and solid understanding of finance concepts.
• Knowledge of banking industry and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Assist evaluation of potential M&A opportunities with financial analysis, valuation and due diligence coordination.
• Perform financial/valuation analysis using DCF, market multiples and other tools.
• Conduct independent research and complex analytical projects with forecasting models.
