Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; 2 years’ experience in commercial credit, public accounting, financial statement preparation/analysis or other financial analysis.
• In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum 6 years' higher education and work experience to include 2 years’ experience in commercial credit, public accounting, financial statement preparation/analysis or other financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new requests and modifications from deal screen through loan approval and for the life of the loan.
• Monitor ongoing credit risk of existing loan portfolios via CCM activities, identifying emerging risk and taking appropriate actions.
• Spread financial statements and prepare cash flow, collateral schedules, covenant sensitivity calculations, financial models, and guarantor analysis.
• Attend client/prospect calls with relationship managers to understand client business and analyze proposed transactions.
• Prepare independent credit quality assessments with risk ratings and describe risks and mitigants for credit decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Commercial Credit Policy and risk standards, escalate issues as needed.
