Job summary

PMCF, affiliated with Plante Moran, seeks an investment banking associate to deliver qualitative and data-driven components for M&A transactions. You will oversee analysts, develop financial models, conduct industry research, and prepare client-ready selling documents.

You should have a bachelor’s in accounting or finance, 3+ years in investment banking, and be willing to relocate to the Chicago, Detroit, or Denver area. This is a non-exempt, high-growth position with travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA preferred but not required.
• At least 3 years of experience in investment banking or transactional field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure accuracy of analyst duties, including modeling and deal wrap-up.
• Develop analytical components for M&A transactions.
• Research industries/companies for prospective buyers and market trends.
• Build and adjust financial models and cash flow analyses for financing and structure.
• Prepare selling documents highlighting company attributes and data.
• Assist with due diligence lists, engagement letters and client presentations.
• Communicate with buyers, lenders, attorneys, and clients; participate in strategic discussions.
