You will oversee analyst duties, develop financial models, and research industries for prospective buyers while working closely with clients and financial institutions. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA preferred but not required.
• At least 3 years of investment banking or transactional experience.
• Willing to relocate to Metro Detroit, Chicagoland, or Denver area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure accuracy of analyst duties, including modeling review.
• Develop analytical components for the development of M&A transactions.
• Research industries and companies for prospective buyer lists and industry overviews.
• Develop and manipulate financial models and valuations for financing, structure, and cash flow feasibility.
• Write assigned sections of selling documents detailing attributes and information about the company.
• Assist in assembling and editing information requests, due diligence lists, and engagement letters.
• Communicate with potential buyers, financial institutions, attorneys, referral sources, and clients.
• Participate in strategic discussions surrounding the transaction.
