Job summary

EDF power solutions is seeking a M&A Sr. Analyst in San Diego. The role focuses on financial modeling, due diligence, and project financing for mergers and acquisitions and related transactions. Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and data skills are required, with a preference for renewable energy experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or similar required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of professional industry experience required.
• Min. 1 year in renewable energy, energy infra, or transaction/finance preferred.
• Strong quantitative and research background.
• Advanced Excel user; knowledge of other database software a plus.
• Experience in Python or R is a plus.
• Experience in Tableau and dashboard development.
• Proficiency in Spanish or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support M&A and Project Finance transaction processes with cross-functional teams.
• Assist due diligence for target deals including financial, legal and operational aspects.
• Support financial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis for acquisitions and divestitures.
• Assist structuring debt and tax equity financing arrangements with lenders and investors.
