Amazon is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead complex M&A investments from deal evaluation to ongoing reporting. This senior contributor will partner with Corporate Development, Legal, Tax, Finance and Technology to ensure accurate and timely reporting across a growing portfolio.

You will own accounting for a portfolio of strategic investments through onboarding, recognition, valuation, reporting, exits and other events, while building scalable processes and controls to

Qualificações

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate new and nonstandard investment transactions and advise on financial reporting impact.
• Lead technical accounting analyses under US GAAP (ASC 321, 323, 815, 820).
• Own accounting and reporting for a portfolio of strategic investments through lifecycle.
• Partner with valuation specialists and internal stakeholders on fair value and disclosures.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Serve as a trusted accounting partner to cross-functional teams and communicate conclusions clearly.
• Identify control, process, and data-quality risks across investment accounting lifecycle.
• Support audits and external reporting with clear documentation.
