Amazon is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead the accounting and financial reporting of the company’s strategic investment portfolio, including minority equity investments, warrants, convertible instruments, and debt investments.

In this senior role, you will partner with Corporate Development, Legal, Tax, and Finance to evaluate structures, establish processes, and ensure accurate reporting through the transaction lifecycle, from onboarding to exits.

Qualifications

5+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Responsabilités

Evaluate new and nonstandard investment transactions; advise on financial reporting impact.
Lead technical accounting analyses under U.S. GAAP (ASC 321, 323, 815, 820).
Own accounting and reporting for a portfolio through lifecycle—from onboarding to exits.
Partner with valuation specialists to assess fair value and disclosures.
Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities; perform variance analysis.
Serve as a trusted accounting partner to cross-functional teams; communicate conclusions clearly.
Identify control/data-quality risks and design scalable solutions.
Support audits and external reporting; respond to auditor inquiries.
