Job summary

Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center) LSSH Lockhart, LLC is seeking a nurse supervisor (LPN/LVN) to provide direct resident care and to oversee nursing assistants. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards and coordinates day-to-day nursing activities within the facility.

You will supervise nursing staff, maintain documentation, review care plans, and participate in quality assurance and discharge planning activities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; respond to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and followed.
• Coordinate and review staff planning, shifts, services, and activities.
• Oversee charting, documentation, and reporting of nursing activities.
• Maintain resident care plans and participate in discharge planning as required.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel and participate in staff development and training.
