Job summary

ASEC, Inc in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of advanced Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training systems supporting Navy and coalition readiness. The role requires coordinating across sensors, C2, and weapons-system representations in a complex environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or a related STEM degree is required.
10+ years of systems engineering experience with DoD programs including architecture, requirements, integration, testing, and lifecycle management.
Experience designing and sustaining LVC training environments, including distributed simulation and multi-domain training.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across design, integration, testing, and sustainment of LVC training systems.
Lead cross-domain integration of live platforms, virtual simulators, and constructive simulation.
Develop system architectures, ICDs, and roadmaps to support evolving training capabilities.
Coordinate with fleet representatives and external partners to align capabilities with operations.
Ensure traceability from mission needs to implementation and maintain engineering documentation.
