Job summary

LFG Manufacturing LLC is seeking a Senior Switchboard Designer to advance electrical distribution equipment designs. You will develop detailed drawings for low voltage switchboards, transformers, junction boxes, troughs, and related assemblies, emphasizing manufacturability and reliability.

You will optimize designs for cost, quality, and ease of manufacturing while ensuring conformance to ANSI, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, and UL standards.

Qualifications

Related college degree (mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering) or other appropriate qualifications.
Prior medium and low voltage switchgear experience with relevant utility metering for component requirements.
Proficiency in engineering, design, and specifying LV electrical equipment, including switchboards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed electrical design drawings for low voltage switchboards, controls, junction boxes, troughs, and bussed trough ways.
Optimize designs for low cost, high reliability, and ease of manufacturing.
Create and maintain quality control for drawings, one-lines, component layouts, wiring diagrams, BOMs, project submittals, construction drawings, and As-Builts.
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, including: ANSI, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, and UL.
Provide Engineering and technical support to manufacturing, test, and product support.
