Job summary

Maverick Power seeks an Electrical Engineering Supervisor for low-voltage design leadership. You will supervise engineers, own design quality, BOM accuracy, and on-time releases from submittal through FAT, focusing on UL 891/UL 1558 and related equipment.

The role requires 10+ years in electrical engineering with leadership, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and project management to meet project commitments.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years electrical engineering experience in low-voltage power distribution.
• Experience with UL 508A/UL 891/UL 1558 and related standards.
• Leadership through reviews, mentoring, and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned engineers, allocate work, balance capacity, and set priorities.
• Lead design reviews and approve deliverables within delegated authority (schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs).
• Translate customer specs into manufacturable designs and ensure BOM/revision control.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and project management to resolve interfaces.
• Support FAT, first article inspections, and troubleshooting as needed.
