Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking an Electrical Engineering Supervisor to lead a low-voltage design team. You will oversee design quality, BOM accuracy, and on-time releases from submittal through FAT, focusing on UL 891/UL 1558 equipment.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in electrical engineering with leadership experience and a strong background in switchboards and switchgear, plus proficiency with SolidWorks Electrical, SKM, and ETAP.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering (required).
• 10+ years in electrical engineering focusing on low-voltage power distribution.
• 5+ years designing switchboards/switchgear or related equipment.
• Experience with UL 508A control panels and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineers, assign work, balance capacity and priorities.
• Lead design reviews and approve deliverables (Schematic, BOM, drawings).
• Coach staff, conduct performance reviews, and drive training.
• Translate specs into manufacturable designs and ensure FAT readiness.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, QC, supply chain, and PMs on interfaces.
