Michael Kors seeks a Digital Imaging Operations Manager to lead shotlist creation, asset intake, and versioning for luxury ecommerce imagery. You will oversee metadata accuracy, coordinate with production and content teams, and guide a Content Operations Coordinator to scale operations.

The role demands 6+ years in ecommerce photography operations, strong Bynder/ DAM experience, and exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. New York-based, full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in photography, digital media, information management, or a related field.
• 6+ years in ecommerce photography operations or high-volume asset environments.
• Hands-on experience managing metadata and image versioning at scale.
• Experience with a digital asset management system; Bynder preferred.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce photography workflows.
• High attention to detail and ability to work at speed.
• Experience guiding or supporting junior team members in production.
• Proficiency in Excel, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
• Luxury, fashion, or premium retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage shotlists based on product data and production plans.
• Oversee asset intake, metadata, naming conventions and versioning standards.
• Track asset status from capture to delivery and ensure readiness for site teams.
• Collaborate with Photography, Retouching, Product Setup and Content Operations teams.
• Provide guidance to a Content Operations Coordinator and prioritize tasks.
