Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced structural analyst to lead the analysis of valves, tubing, mounts, and COPVs for the Blue Moon Luna lander program. You will perform structural, dynamic, and thermal analyses using FEA tools and help identify safety, weight, and cost improvements.

The role requires a B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 5+ years of aerospace analysis experience, and proficiency with ANSYS and Creo. U.S. citizenship or eligible status is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural and dynamic analysis of valves, tubing, mounts, COPVs, etc.
• Identify opportunities for safety, cost, and weight savings
• Support configuration development and trade studies
• Review supplier analyses of COTS valves
• Maintain and report on tasks, schedule, and status
