Job summary

Uber Freight is looking for an experienced Sr. Transportation Procurement Analyst II to independently manage LTL sourcing and pricing for customers and internal teams. You will analyze complex networks, evaluate carrier proposals, and develop sourcing recommendations while partnering with carriers during bid events.

The role emphasizes analytics, pricing optimization, and process improvements, with a hybrid work schedule at a Center of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze complex shipment data, lane-level pricing, and carrier proposals.
• Experience analyzing data to develop sourcing recommendations.
• Strong Excel skills for pricing comparisons and bid result summaries.
• Understanding of LTL pricing components: tariffs, discounts, minimum charges, accessorials, fuel.

Responsibilities

• Manage LTL procurement and pricing initiatives for customers, including data prep, bid development, sourcing, negotiation support, and implementation.
• Analyze shipment, pricing, service, and network data to identify cost and service opportunities.
• Evaluate carrier proposals across line haul, fuel, accessorials, and service coverage.
• Develop sourcing scenarios balancing customer requirements and financial objectives.
• Partner with LTL carriers during sourcing events to clarify requirements and negotiate opportunities.
• Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen carrier portfolio and improve procurement processes.
