Job summary

Forvis Mazars US is seeking a Senior Clinical Reimbursement Consultant to lead and support engagements in skilled nursing and senior living. You will translate complex reimbursement and regulatory requirements into practical client solutions and drive multi-year growth.

You will collaborate with reimbursement and billing teams, develop client-ready deliverables, and share education and thought leadership with DONS, MDS coordinators and executives. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing and ability to maintain licensure.
• 5+ years of clinical experience in long-term care or senior living.
• Advanced knowledge in MDS 3.0, RAI, PDPM, Medicare/Medicaid concepts.
• Ability to analyze clinical, reimbursement, and quality data in Excel/EMR.
• Experience creating standard workpapers, reports and training materials.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support engagements on MDS completion and compliance for skilled nursing.
• Develop findings via work papers, reports, and client recommendations.
• Guide clients through CMS/state audit responses and remediation plans.
• Provide education, training and thought leadership for staff and executives.
• Expand clinical consulting services and contribute to go-to-market efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver data-driven insights.
• Support EMR optimization and digital process improvements.
