Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is a leading professional services firm seeking a Senior Clinical Reimbursement Consultant to drive MDS completion and reimbursement strategies for skilled nursing and senior living providers. You will lead engagements, develop detailed findings, and guide clients through CMS/state requirements with a focus on compliance and performance improvements.

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing and ability to maintain licensure.
5+ years of clinical experience in long-term care or senior living.
Advanced knowledge: MDS 3.0, RAI, PDPM, Medicare/Medicaid methodologies.
Ability to analyze clinical, reimbursement, and quality data with Excel and EMR tools.
Travel for client engagements, training and industry presentations.

Responsibilities

Lead or support engagements focused on MDS completion and payer regulatory compliance.
Develop and present findings via work papers, reports, and client recommendations.
Guide clients through medical review, audit responses, and remediation plans.
Provide education, training and thought leadership for DONS, MDS coordinators, and executives.
Expand clinical consulting services and develop new revenue streams with leadership.
Collaborate with teams to provide data-driven insights using clinical analytics.
Support EMR optimization and digital process enhancements.
Manage multiple client projects with professional communication.
Monitor evolving clinical compliance requirements and lead education efforts.
Represent the firm as a national and state industry leader in clinical compliance.
