Job summary

Tetra Tech is expanding its Environmental Remediation Practice in New Jersey, seeking a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) to lead complex remediation projects across soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water. You will guide projects through NJDEP processes and manage regulatory submittals.

The ideal candidate has a NJ LSRP license, 10+ years of experience, and strong client leadership and communication skills to mentor staff and grow the practice in the New Jersey/Mid-Atlantic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a closely related field.
• Valid Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) license in the State of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience providing environmental remediation services.
• Broad knowledge of New Jersey site remediation regulations and guidance, including the Site Remediation Reform Act framework, ISRA, UST remediation requirements, and related acts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as LSRP of Record for multiple cases, project sites, and clients.
• Guide projects through the New Jersey Site Remediation Program, including Preliminary Assessment, Site Investigation, Remedial Investigation, Remedial Action planning and implementation, and regulatory case closure.
• Prioritize project activities and regulatory submittals to ensure progress toward case closure in accordance with project schedules and NJDEP timelines.
• Manage workloads, document reviews, LSRP responsibilities, and other tasks to meet schedules.
• Provide input and assessment of various cases in the SRP.
• Develop project schedules and remedial strategies in coordination with project managers when serving solely as the LSRP.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain strong client relationships.
