Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license to practice in the state.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Administer medications as ordered and verify resident identity.
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure quality resident care.
