Job summary

Bridgehead IT in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Senior Low Voltage Technician to lead field installations of structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, and audio visual systems across Texas.

You will work from construction drawings, supervise the installation crew, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time turnover on each project. A company vehicle is provided along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Five or more years installing low voltage systems, including structured cabling plus real experience in at least one of access control, video surveillance, or audio visual.
• Ability to read and work from construction prints, riser diagrams, and floor plans without supervision.
• Proven copper and fiber termination, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience leading a small installation crew on an active job site.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Trade school, apprenticeship, or military technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, and audio visual systems at client sites in Texas.
• Lead installation crew on assigned projects and coordinate with clients and contractors.
• Install pathway and support systems, grounding, and firestop penetrations.
• Test and certify copper and fiber cabling, document results, and turnover.
• Produce as-built documentation and conduct client walkthroughs; ensure safety and on-time turnover.
