ICS Holding is seeking a Senior Low Voltage Technician to perform advanced installations, terminations, and troubleshooting for fiber optics, access control, surveillance, and structured cabling. This traveling role covers job sites across the Texas Gulf Coast and Southeast U.S., requiring independence and leadership.

The position involves mentoring apprentices, collaborating with project managers, and maintaining safety and craftsmanship at all times.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in low voltage electrical work.
• Proven ability to install, terminate, and troubleshoot fiber optics, access control, and surveillance systems.
• Experience with Genetec and Avigilon preferred.
• NICET I or II in Fire Alarm or related discipline is a plus.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid and current driver’s license.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsabilidades

• Terminate, splice (fusion), and test fiber optic cable using OTDR and power meter testing equipment.
• Install and configure systems including door hardware, readers, panels, and power supplies.
• Install, aim, and program IP CCTV systems; experience with Genetec and Avigilon preferred.
• Troubleshoot and repair low voltage cabling systems, including Cat5e/6/6A and fiber.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, risers, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Travel to remote job sites requiring overnight stays.
• Interface with customers, project managers, and site personnel to ensure job clarity and satisfaction.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians.
• Maintain a strong focus on job safety, accuracy, and craftsmanship.
