Job summary

Telvero is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Superintendent to lead field operations on a large-scale commercial project in Bethesda, MD. You will oversee multiple low-voltage trade partners and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate has commercial construction experience, can read drawings, coordinate across trades, and build strong relationships with subcontractors and project teams on a long-term engagement through 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience with large commercial projects and low-voltage systems.
• Experience managing projects valued around $1M+.
• Ability to supervise multiple low-voltage subcontractors and trades.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Active construction environment familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day field oversight of multiple low-voltage partners and subcontractors.
• Coordinate installation activities across several concurrent low-voltage scopes.
• Monitor field progress, manpower, schedule, quality, and installation readiness.
• Coordinate low-voltage activities with general construction, electrical, mechanical, and other trades.
• Review work in the field for compliance with drawings, specifications, quality, and standards.
• Lead field coordination and help resolve installation conflicts and sequencing issues.
• Oversee fiber installation activities, including termination and testing.
• Support planning and coordination for structured cabling and other technology infrastructure.
• Build productive working relationships with subcontractors, field leadership, project management, and stakeholders.
• Maintain a visible presence in the field and hold trade partners accountable for commitments, safety, and schedule.
• Participate in project meetings, field walks, scheduling discussions, and progress reviews.
• Identify potential risks or delays early and develop solutions with the team.
• Support documentation, punch-list completion, testing, closeout, and turnover activities.
