Job summary

Encore Electric, Inc. seeks a Service Technician II in the Technology Solutions department to perform service calls, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and small projects across multiple technical disciplines.

You will own work from preparation to closeout, interact with clients, and mentor junior technicians while upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 3–5 years of relevant experience in audiovisual, structured cabling, security, BAS, electrical, construction, or related technical discipline.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to read blueprints, one-lines, riser diagrams, specifications, and manufacturer documentation.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service calls, preventive maintenance, repairs, moves/adds/changes, and minor installation work.
• Own assigned service calls from start to finish and document outcomes.
• Diagnose and resolve common system failures with troubleshooting and test equipment.
• Install, configure, test, and verify field equipment across supported disciplines.
• Mentor Service Technician I staff and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
