Job summary

Everon is seeking a field service technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage panels, wiring and devices across our customer locations. You will perform system testing, provide customer instruction, and maintain field documentation with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, NICET certifications or progression, and a valid driver's license. Comfort with travel and a detail-oriented, results-driven work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Must have three (3) or more years of experience.
• Mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom access control systems.
• Working knowledge of local/national codes.
• Ability to read plans, use tools and install panels, boxes and wiring accordingly.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HAZCOM Regulations and compliance with codes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Services, troubleshoots and repairs low voltage panels, wiring and devices.
• Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
• Provides customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains truck stock/inventory of equipment and tools.
• Organizes resources to ensure efficient task execution.
• Ensures progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Documents service hours and related activities.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Completes other assigned projects.
