Job summary

IEX Group, Inc. in New York is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. You will design, implement, and operate high-performance, low-latency networks, including IEX’s new Options Exchange, ensuring resilience and security in real-time trading operations.

The role demands expertise in low-latency networking, network automation with Ansible/Python, and collaboration with Data Center Engineers and SREs to maintain continuous trading uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Networking certifications (CCNP/CCIE/JNCIE/Arista ACE) preferred.
• 10+ years in networking, high-performance, low-latency environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage resilient, high-performance network platforms.
• Ensure high-availability and low-latency operations.
• Automate network tasks using Ansible, Python; monitor and troubleshoot performance.
• Configure switches/routers/firewalls from major vendors.
