Job summary

Jain Global, LLC seeks a Senior Low Latency Java Engineer to join our team building and running the in-house OEMS. The role focuses on latency-critical components from core sequencing to gateways, using Aeron/SBE with FIX connectivity and AI-assisted development.

You will own end-to-end latency improvements, perform production tuning on Linux, and drive testing and deployment in a cross-region hedge fund environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java development with low-latency focus.
• Experience on OMS/EMS or trading gateways in production.
• Track record of Linux performance tuning and incident response.
• Familiarity with AI coding agents and automated checks.
• CI/CD, containers, and AWS proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement latency-critical components in the OEMS core.
• Develop market gateways: FIX connectivity and API services.
• Apply zero-allocation design and GC-free practices.
• Measure latency end-to-end with benchmarks and tracing.
• Own production performance and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with trading, quant, and DevOps teams.
• Evolve AI-enabled coding and review processes.
